There is an art and a science to trauma-informed practice (TIP)! This workshop will explore foundational content, process true to the principles/values of TIP, and a framework for considering the practice and skill sets needed for integrating TIP in educational settings. Delegates will leave the day with: a basic understanding of the impact of toxic stress on the developing brain, an understanding of the ARC framework and how it can be used to guide practice, and an awareness of the centrality and need for reflective practice on the part of the educator.
