My favorite students?   The hard to reach, the shutdown, the "in your face", the lost, the tired...these students make my day,  each day I teach.   Each one of these students have made me better, not only as a teacher, but as a person.  This session will deal with examples of how to forge connections with our hard to reach and teach students.  You will leave laughing, inspired and with activities ready to use when you return to your classes.
